Questions
- Can I convert to MP3?
- No, MP3 is not one of the choices you get back. An MP3 opens fine as input. If you wanted MP3 because it is small and plays widely, pick OGG for size or M4A for phones.
- Will it sound worse?
- Not in a way you are likely to hear. Where the audio already suits the format you picked, the sound is copied straight across without losing quality, so none of it is redone.
- Why can I only pick WAV?
- Your browser decides which formats it can write, and WAV needs nothing extra, so WAV is always offered. A recent Chrome, Edge or Safari usually gives you the rest of the list.
