Every account receives a free credit allowance that resets on the 1st of each month. Credits are consumed atomically only when a hosted cloud model executes successfully. If a model fails or returns an error, the credit consumption is immediately refunded. You can view your real-time balance inside your project toolbar.
Absolutely! Under your Account Settings, you can configure your own Google AI (Gemini/Imagen/Veo) or xAI (Grok) API keys. When you do, we route executions directly through your credentials. In this case, zero credits are deducted from your balance, allowing you to pay raw API costs directly to the providers.
Yes, security is a core pillar of genvi. Your keys are encrypted client-side using industry-standard AES-GCM encryption before being transmitted and stored in your Supabase Vault (backed by pgsodium). They are decrypted server-side only at the split second of an API request, and are never exposed in the browser or logged in plaintext.
