Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how genvi uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies. In short: we use only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your browsing activity. Because we rely solely on essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required under the ePrivacy Directive / GDPR.
1. What we use
Strictly necessary cookies
- Authentication / session cookies, set by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) to keep you signed in and to protect requests. Without these you cannot log in or use the Service.
Local browser storage (not cookies)
- UI preferences, such as light/dark theme and editor layout, stored in your browser's local storage on your device. This never leaves your browser.
2. What we do not use
- Analytics or product-usage tracking cookies
- Advertising or retargeting cookies and tracking pixels
- Third-party social or cross-site tracking
3. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking our essential authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service. Clearing local storage will reset your saved UI preferences.
4. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, optional analytics), we will update this policy and present a consent mechanism before any such cookies are set. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data, or contact us at support@genvi.co.
