Check it before you run it
The first page appears with a dashed rectangle and the trimmed area dimmed, so you choose the numbers by eye.

Top means the top you see, so a pile of mixed portrait and landscape scans trims the same way.

Questions
- Is the cropped-off part gone for good?
- No. Trimming hides those margins rather than deleting them, so this is the wrong way to hide private information. Take it out before the PDF is made, or export the pages as images.
- Why was my crop refused?
- Because it would leave almost nothing of a page. A crop has to leave at least half an inch each way, and the message names the page that ran out of room.
- Can I crop just one page?
- Not with this tool, since the margins apply to all of them. Extract that page into its own PDF, crop it there, then merge it back where it came from.
