Push notifications for finished work on the genvi apps
The genvi apps now send a message to your phone when an image, video or sound is ready. Three switches control what else you get.

Video and music can take a few minutes. The genvi apps for iPhone and Android now send push notifications. A push notification is a message that appears on your phone. Start a generation, lock your phone, and we tell you when the result is ready, or if it did not work.
What push notifications tell you
There are three kinds, and each has its own switch.
- Generations. Your image, video or other result is ready, or it did not work. On your lock screen you see the job and its status. It never shows your prompt.
- Credits and account. Rewards waiting for you, credits refilled, and a notice if the app store reports a problem paying for your plan.
- Tips and offers. New models, features and offers.
Anything you start in the app always tells you when it finishes. Something you start on the web also tells your phone, if it took longer than a minute. A retried job tells you once. A cancelled job never does.
Set it up
- Open the app and go to Account, then Notifications.
- Under On this phone, turn on Push notifications.
- Under Notify me about, choose among Generations, Credits and account and Tips and offers.
Generations and Credits and account start on. Tips and offers starts off and stays off until you say yes. We ask once for each install of the app, either right after you turn notifications on or after a good result. We do not ask if your phone has notifications turned off. The app also waits until your first result before it asks to allow notifications, not when you first open it.
Limits on tips and offers
Even if you say yes, tips and offers only arrive between 10:00 and 20:00 your time. You get at most one every 48 hours and three in any 7 days. The app tells us your time zone and updates it when you travel.

Tapping a message
Tap a message and the app opens the right screen, such as your finished result. Each tap is handled once. If you delete your account, the app first removes your phone from our list.
What it costs
Notifications are free. Only the generation itself uses credits. To learn how to earn credits, see credit rewards and achievements.
